What Are the Payment Terms?

Modified on Tue, 27 Feb 2024 at 10:52 AM

At Habyt, we want to make sure that our payment terms are clear and easy to understand. Here are some important things to keep in mind when it comes to paying your monthly rent:

  • Rent is due in advance: You will need to pay your rent for the upcoming month before the first day of that month. This means that if you are renting a Habyt apartment for the month of October, you will need to pay your rent before October 1st.

  • Automatic payments: Our system will automatically withdraw your rental payment from your chosen payment method between the 27th of the preceding month and the first working day of each month. This means that you don't need to worry about manually making a payment each month.

  • Payment processing time: Depending on your bank, it may take a few days for your payment to show up in your account. Please keep this in mind when planning your budget.

  • Invoices: After your rent is paid, our system will automatically send you a receipt. You can also view your payment history and latest invoices on your Habyt Member’s Portal or Habyt App.

APAC

For Singapore and Hong Kong, monthly rent is due on the 1st of every month. A late payment fee of S$150 / HKD500 will be issued if monthly rent is not received. Should payment not be received by the 8th of the month, Habyt is entitled to send a Letter of Eviction and the Member(s) will be given advance notice to vacate the property.
