If the Salto lock in your flat, room, or building is not working properly, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue.
First, please make sure you are scanning the FOB in the correct place - it should be in an all black area near the door knob. If this doesn't solve the problem, there may be other issues at play.
Based on the colors of the Salto lock led lights (red, green, blue, orange or yellow), the following scenarios could occur:
- Solid Red LED with multiple beeping tones: You do not have access to this door.
- If you are sure this is your apartment, please create a Help Request through our Member's Portal or your Habyt App and provide a brief description of the situation and visual content to support it.

- Solid Green LED with a single beep: You have access to this door. Just turn the knob and let yourself inside the building.
- Red LED and beep occur AFTER the door has been unlocked: The door is locking again after some time of being unlocked but not used. All you need to do is use the fob again.
- Red LED flashes 4 times, followed by a 1-green flash and beeping tones: This means that the lock has a low battery (red light) but it still works and unlocks (green light)
- Although these situations are not common, they can happen. If you notice this, please create a Help Request through our Member's Portal or your Habyt App and add a video of the situation. We will contact our local technicians so that they can work their magic and solve the issue by replacing the battery in a timely manner.

- Intervals of orange/yellow LED followed by 1-Red LED flash OR a very short Red LED blink: the FOB was not correctly scanned. Most probable, the fob was removed too fast before the reading process was completed. Please try again.
